Responsibilities
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves variety! Your efforts and ownership will make a tangible difference to our people and the financial position of our group week on week. You'll take ownership of our AR function while supporting our Management Accountants in general finance things when required.
Our Finance team is small but mighty. They support our growing network of hotels across the country, and provide advice and mentoring to their stakeholders in their specialist area. You'll do the same. You'll help educate our managers in payroll compliance so they can continue to develop as professionals, and you'll work with and guide them on the importance and best-practice approach for Accounts Receivable.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Owning the Accounts Receivable function, including debtors management, and improving processes and policies to better manage debt
- Assisting our Management Accountants in the month-end accrual process and property reconciliation
- Providing any other required support to the Finance team

About You
We work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.
The successful person must have:
- Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
- Completed or currently working towards qualifications in accounting, commerce or business administration
- High level of skill in Excel
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- A natural tendency to really 'own' your area of expertise
