AddressPeople2peopole are currently working with a independent and family-owned Transport leading express parcel and transport service provider in north-western suburb of Adelaide, in the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. We are currently looking for a temporary Collections / Accounts Receivable Officer for an immediate start.The working hours would be Monday to Friday on a full time basis from 8:30am-17:00pm 2 month assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Establish outbound collection correspondence via phone and email.
- Process payments via credit card.
- Update cash collection forecasts and update team leader on accounts.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Document and initiate investigation of client invoicing queries.
- Recommend alternative collection courses of action where required and escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate.
- Resend documentation to facilitate payment.
- Support the team with other ad hoc tasks as required.

- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience with invoice collection and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across many accounts in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Proficient user of common computer programs including the Microsoft Office and Finance Software.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
