About the role
Ballarat Clarendon College is seeking a full-time, ongoing Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team.

Staff report to and operate under the general direction of the Business Manager - Finance. The Accounts Receivable Officer interacts with all areas and levels of staff as well as relevant external parties which often require discretion and confidentiality.

Role tasks and responsibilities
This role will require:
provision of a high level of customer service to parents/guardians and other internal and external stakeholders.
excellent ICT skills, including high-level proficiency with relevant software.
excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
to perform the day-to-day processing of Accounts Receivable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.
timely and accurate preparation and processing of tuition fees, charges and payment plans.
reconciliation of debtor-related accounts.
verification of and provision of data entry to confirm the accuracy and integrity of finance records.
data extraction and validation to assist in reporting requirements.
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate competencies throughout the selection process that may include scenario-based assessment.
