Introduction:
SCTEG is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Head Office team in Ballarat.
This is a full-time permanent position situated within a great working environment.
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, will not be limited to:
- Daily receipting of customer payments received via bank statements.
- Phoning and chasing Debtors accounts in a timely manner.
- Analyzing and processing new customer accounts.
- Processing and reconciling Capricorn (Caplink).
- EOM & EOFY process and rollover where required.
- Refund to customers where appropriately approved.
- Reconciling accounts where required.
- Equifax lodgment of default where required.
- Closely managing delinquent customers effectively.
- Reviewing customer account limits where required.
- Releasing of accounts for supply where appropriate.
- Reconciling Maxi bank account.
- Processing and reconciling internet sales/PayPal accounts.
- Providing copy invoices to customers where requested.
- Balancing Cash Receipts Journals and Suspense accounts
- Bad Debt Write Offs.
- Archiving.
- Any additional tasks as directed by management.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes; however, will not be exclusive to:
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong understanding of transactional banking duties
- Highly developed organizational skills
- Solution and outcomes focused.
- Commitment and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High attention to detail
- Microsoft Office and Excel
- An ability and willingness to learn new processes and systems quickly.
