Accounts Receivable Officer

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking an Account Receivable Officer to join the Scape Finance Team. As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will process rent for our residents, manage the process for bonds, contribute to improving the reporting and internal control processes.

This role based is in our Sydney CBD Head Office, 5 days per week.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You will be detailed oriented with the ability to perform the below tasks:

• More than two years of finance experience
• Familiar with general ledger systems. Experience of working on NetSuite is desirable but not compulsory.
• Previous experience dealing with a room booking system such as PEX or StarRez is advantageous.
• Familiar with bond lodgement process, desirable.
• High level of proficiency of MS Excel.
• Medium level proficiency of other MS Office products – Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. At Scape all official communication is in English.
• Detail oriented, efficient, and organised.
• A self-starter and solutions focused
• Confident to question if something does not look right.
• Excellent problem-solving skills: proven ability identify problems in collection of data and rectify them.
• Dependable, enthusiastic and a team player.
