We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated individual for a position as an Accounts/Administration Officer to join our Sydney office.

Key Duties include:
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
  • Assisting with the completion of quotes & tender schedules
  • Processing payroll accurately and on time with our Astute Payroll software.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management and staff.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal communications.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as required.
  • Maintaining and renewing insurance policies, Vehicle Fleet Management registrations, service histories and upkeep of records.

To be Successful in this Role You Should Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting and payroll principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and XERO accounting software.
  • Understanding of Astute Payroll Software is preferred but not essential as training is provided.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information is compulsory.
