An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts and Office Administrator to join the leading steel frame and truss manufacturer in NSW. 

You will be part of a high-performing team that knows how to get the job done whilst still having fun.

About the role

This challenging but highly rewarding role offers variety and is a great opportunity for a vibrant candidate who has a proven track record in accounts, a 'can do' approach and an eye for detail.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • General Office Administration, document and filing system management;
  • General administrative tasks including reception duties;
  • Administrative/PA responsibilities including secretarial and administrative support to the Directors of the company;
  • Accounts receivable/payable;
  • Purchasing and payroll;
  • Preparation of PAYG, payroll tax and superannuation payments;
  • Completion of bank reconciliations;
  • Maintenance of Accounts Payable records;
  • Ability to investigate financial discrepancies and resolve any issues;
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly management reports, including P&L, balance sheets and cash flow statements;
  • Handling customer/supplier invoice queries;

To become part of the Hitek Team, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in accounts/administration 
  • Extensive knowledge of MYOB
  • Strong MS office skills
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Pleasant phone manner and positive attitude
  • Confidentiality and privacy is a necessity
  • High level of initiative
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of organisational skills with the ability to assess priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to learn quickly and a good team player
  • Working in a team environment, but able to work autonomously
