The Client
Our client is a reputable development organisation based out of their Head office in the CBD. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Acquisitions Manager to join a team delivering best practice management services and build upon its excellent relationships with all existing and future clients.
The Role
You will effectively source, investigate, propose, complete due diligence and negotiate property acquisition opportunities in Victoria primarily and nationally in line with capital plan and strategy. Your responsibilities are as follows:
- Complete purchase of approved acquisitions through to hand over to the Development Team.
- To execute on agreed asset divestments in line with capital plan and strategy.
- Act as primary contract for property brokers/agents, property companies, funds, investment houses, private companies and others who may be looking to divest of or acquire real estate.
- Prepare feasibility analysis on acquisitions/divestments for submission to the Investment Committee of the Board.
- Build network of external contacts to gather market intelligence and capitalise opportunities in relation to both on and off market acquisitions.
What you will need to Succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Business/Economics/Valuations or other property related discipline.
- Proven track record of success in sourcing/acquiring residential property
- Solid knowledge of Victorian land market and regulatory framework governing land acquisition
- Experience using Estate Master (DF) or other modelling skills
- High strengths in attention to detail with precision time management and organisational skills
- Agile and proactive individual who is ready to build on the role and the team around you as the pipeline grows.
In Return
- $180,000 Base + Super + Bonus
- Summer working hours (work a little bit extra Mon-Thu to finish half day on Fridays).
- Hybrid – 2 days WFH and the remaining in office
