Internal Expressions of Interest - Acting Clinical Nurse - Cooinda Mental Health Unit | Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast
• Employment Term: Permanent Part Time Fixed Term Vacancy (3 - 6 months) - 28 hrs per week
• Location: Buderim, QLD
• Remuneration: $52.95 - $56.74 p/h + Penalties & Allowances
We’re seeking internal expressions of interest for an experienced clinical leader to join the Cooinda Mental Health Unit as a Clinical Nurse, on a Part Time Fixed term vacancy.
Your role:
As an experienced nurse, you will present with well-developed communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering person-centred care through a strong alignment to our values. You’ll be adept at managing conflicting priorities whilst remaining patient-focused under time pressures.
As a Clinical Nurse in this department, you will
- Provide Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding patient expectations
- Commit to achieving optimal patient outcomes through the use of effective clinical knowledge and professional standards of practice
- Apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a safe environment for optimal patient health
- Effectively and accurately exchange, retrieve and manage information relevant to your role
- Exercise authority through appropriate decision making
- Apply sound knowledge of principles of clinical and workplace risk management, including incident management
You will demonstrate:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in acute surgical ward
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship
- An ability to coordinate and prioritise your wards clinical load
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement
- A keen interest in leadership
