Activation Marketing Manager

The Activation Marketing Manager plays a critical role in helping deliver the growth ambitions of the business. Responsible for developing and executing with excellence Annual Business Plans based on insights from our choosers, end users and industry trends.

This role will work very closely with the Sales and Channel teams to ensure KCP is delivering on KCP Promise and customer experience. The Activation Marketing team also works in close collaboration within the broader APAC CX, Marketing & Innovation team to bring the Annual Business Plans to life.

  • Develop and Execute Annual Business Plans (ABP) and provide input into 3 year Strategic Business Plans (SBP)

  • Evaluate and select strategies and initiatives for local market - what to do, where to play and how to win

  • Possess a clear understanding of B2B strategies and the strategic imperatives

  • Provide input, budget and execute both long-term strategic and short-term operational marketing plans that result in above average business growth and performance

  • Identify new market segment opportunities specific to region and develop full market and business case to gain required investment

  • Manage marketing budgets and tracking related to ROI

  • Champion the significant local market nuances, while also championing the similarities to leverage global, regional scale

  • Drive alignment against key business priorities

  • Partner with Demand Generation and Category team on new product offering commercialization

  • Co-create commercialization and go-to-market launch plans.

  • Provide local and relevant competitive insights to local and regional leadership teams

  • Manage Distributor JBPs and responsible for developing joint channel marketing plans

  • Ensure own behaviours are consistent with our Ways of Working

  • 100% Completion of Performance Plans and Focused Development Plans, ensuring they are reviewed regularly with your manager and commitments agreed

  • Make an active contribution to the team environment, through sharing knowledge and collaborating with others to build an engaged workplace

  • Ensure commitment and clear understanding of KC policies and procedures and adhere to them at all times

  • Active commitment and participation to ensuring KC is a safe workplace

About You

You're also a university graduate with a degree in Marketing, or a related area, and have at least 5-8+ years of continuous work experience. Job Requirements

  • Marketing Degree or Business related Degree with Marketing minor

  • Experience within a B2B environment

  • 5+ years of related experience

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to consult, partner and work effectively with senior business leaders and business partners across cultures and functions

  • Highly skilled in influencing people and achieving objectives collaboratively

  • Time management - ability to manage multiple contributors for projects in order to deliver on time

  • Business / Commercial Acumen: Solid analytical skills, financial acumen and commercial grounding

  • Experience in working with strategic channel partners
