We are currently seeking an Activities and Lifestyle Assistantto join our team.
We welcome applicants who wish to take part in a traineeship, gaining a Certificate 3 in Allied Health.
Applicant will be required to be available to work 5 shifts per week with occasional weekend shifts.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate III in Allied Health (HLT32412) or equivalent/ willing to take part in a traineeship to obtain one.
- Must be enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive and take initiative.
- Must be able to set up meaningful and person centred activities.
- Must be able to present activities for varying level of ability.
- Must be computer literate.
- Experience working in a similar role in an Aged Care Facility will be highly regarded but not essential
- Demonstrates genuine desire to care for frail aged people
- Able to effectively communicate in written and oral English
- A current NDIS Clearance
