The role and you:
- Be responsible for providing support and assistance to residents through the planning and delivery of social, leisure and lifestyle activities;
- Encourage and promote the activities program for residents;
- Ensure the communication and
- Build and maintain relationships with residents and their families,
- Assist residents to communicate to ensure that the rights, interests and needs of resident’s are met;
- Maintain resident records and information, utilising relevant systems and in line with specified policies and procedures;
- Encourage and promote the independence and freedom of choice of residents.
About the Facilities:
The Merriwa Estate and Cambrai Village are home to two of our Residential Care Centres in Merriwa: Karri & Tuart Lodge and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge.
We would love for you to join us at Karri and Tuart Lodge as a Lifestyle Assistant. Karri and Tuart Lodge is a refurbished 110 bed Residential Care Centre located in the northern suburb of Merriwa at 19 Hughie Edwards Drive.Here we offer, permanent, respite and secure dementia care.

What you need to do:
- Have Certificate III in Allied Health;
- Have a valid "C" Class Drivers Licence;
- Update your resume;
- Be eligible to work in Australia;
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one;
- Be up to date with your COVID 19 and flu vaccinations;
