SalaryOur client, a government agency, is seeking an actuary to join their team working across Capital and Reserving. This role must be based in Sydney.
About the role
- Responsible for delivery of the annual Actuarial Valuation Report and monthly actuarial reserves.
- Maintain and enhance the capital projection model and produce annual forward-looking financial projections.
- Produce reports and updates on reserving and capital management matters to senior management and the Board.
- Responsible for providing reserving and capital management input into the annual Financial Outlook Report, Corporate Plan, and Annual Report.
- Must be an Australian citizen.
- Qualified as a Fellow with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in general insurance roles with strong experience in reserving and/or capital.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
