About your new job:Join our dynamic Tablelands Acute Care Team and take on the role of providing initial assessments and intensive follow-up interventions within a trauma-informed and recovery-focused framework. Your responsibilities will include engaging and communicating with various stakeholders such as GPs, families, NDIS, and other private practitioners/services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Mental Health clinician seeking to broaden their experience within an Acute Mental Health Team in a rural setting. You'll work collaboratively within a small multidisciplinary team, with the chance to learn from senior clinicians in a supportive environment. Our team is conveniently located at the Armidale Community Health Centre, less than 1 km from the CBD, and operates on a 7-day rotating shift roster without night shifts.
We're seeking a clinician proficient in assessment, treatment planning, and teamwork. As the ideal candidate, you'll possess or be developing a diverse set of clinical skills, along with effective time management and task prioritization abilities.
Upon joining, you'll undergo orientation tailored to your needs, with access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Our Service Manager and senior clinicians will provide dedicated support throughout your journey with the Mental Health Service.
