ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as a Grade 3 Physiotherapist & the Team Leader of our acute Physiotherapy department at the East Melbourne campus.
This role is full time (negotiable) working up to 38 hours per week and will be pivotal in leading & inspiring the acute Physiotherapy team.
You will bring your passion & expertise to the role where you will work with a dedicated team of experienced Physiotherapist's to support the service provision of excellent patient-centred care for a mostly orthopaedic clinical caseload
The role includes clinical and operational responsibilities, such as supervision of staff and students, coordination of the department's quality improvement projects & as a key adviser on matters relating to acute Physiotherapy management within the hospital.

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Grade 3 Physiotherapist Team Leader, you are a master in orthopaedic clinical practice & a role model in leading your team to deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred care. You have highly developed interpersonal skills, are a highly capable problem solver with ability to work flexibly within a team & prioritise competing tasks in a timely manner. You are enthusiastic, dedicated, adaptable and friendly with a philosophy of continual improvement and evidence based practice.
Your skills will include:
- Minimum of 7 years post graduate physiotherapy experience
- Extensive experience in orthopaedic physiotherapy treatment
- Demonstrated experience & commitment to staff supervision, development and continuing education
- Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of Physiotherapy and support staff
- Exceptional ability to communicate and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Grade 3 (as per EBA) + salary packaging + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
