Form of workOnslow Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OCCI) are looking for an experienced and highly organised full time Admin & Events Co-Ordinator to join our small team.
OCCI is an independent not for profit organisation that provides advocacy and representation, networking & Events and business support for Onslow’s dynamic business community. OCCI has over 100 members and has developed a reputation as a highly credible business sector champion. Driven by the needs of our members, the OCCI offers invaluable support and guidance to businesses across a range of sectors and services. The Chamber actively promotes the interests of our members in the Onslow business community, and work to achieve positive social, economic and environmental outcomes for the town of Onslow.
Some of our key initiatives include the Onslow Business Excellence Awards, Business Support Program, Business After Hours, Women of Onslow, The Onslow Hub and Jobs in Onslow.
This role will include but not limited to:
- General administration queries and tasks such as answering calls, greeting customers, updating the jobs board and keeping an up to date filing system
- Creating flyers on Canva for marketing & promotions
- Event coordination
- Coordination of accredited training
- Basic administrative tasks for local & visiting customers
- Coordinating coworking spaces, private offices and the conference room at The Onslow Hub
- Updating website and social media pages
- Petty cash handling
The successful candidate will require strong written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills, high level of professionalism, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines, good attention to detail and be computer literate.
