Admin & Logistics Assistant
About the Company:
We are a Food & Wine exporter, servicing customers all over the world, from large organised retailers to small importers/wholesalers.
Operating for more than 9 years, we have experienced continued growth and we require the services of an Admin/Logistics specialist to join a small team delivering excellent service to our customers.
Located in Merrylands, our office is located very close to the train station and parking.
About the role:
This is a very interesting and varied role, as the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in all functions of the business – Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Sourcing and Admin
A few examples of the duties and tasks involved include:
- Data Entry into Xero and CRM systems
- Working heavily with Spreadsheets and Data
- Booking and Tracking Logistics and Supply Chain
- Working with stakeholders – Suppliers, Logistics and Customers
- E-Commerce – monitoring and updating various platforms.
- General Administration and Projects
About the skills required:
- Foremost, the successful candidate will need to have the ability to quickly learn systems and processes. As we are a small team, we need an outstanding individual to help us exceed our customers’ expectations.
- High level of attention to detail, organisation and planning
- Confidence – not afraid to speak with people and use your initiative.
- Real Excel skills and interest in Apps
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in FMCG or Xero would be a benefit, however, ability is more important than experience.
