Closing Date: 11:30pm, Sunday 30th June 2024About the OpportunityThe Administrative Support Officer forms part of a closeknit team that provides administrative support, including back-up reception duties, to the Business Services Section (BSS) of the Crown Solicitor’s Office (CSO). This involves provision of an efficient and effective administrative support to the Director, Business Services, HR & Business Manager, and staff of the BSS, as well as first level support for basic system support user queries. In this role you will be a member of a variety of committees providing administrative and executive support to a team of Solicitors in delivering continuing educational programs across the CSO and its clients.About the BusinessThe Crown Solicitor's Office, through the Attorney-General, provides legal services to government, Ministers, agencies and departments, including legal advice, representation before courts and tribunals, negotiating commercial contracts, drafting and production of legal documents, counsel for the conduct of summary prosecutions and Magistrates' appeals, native title claim management, land conveyancing and investigation.For more information about the Attorney-General’s Department and also CSO, please visit and .Special Conditions for EmploymentEmployment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
