We require a communications expert in Customer Service who is inclusive and collaborative with a ‘can do’ attitude, possesses excellent attention to detail and is proactive in identifying potential issues and developing potential solutions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Senior Customer Services Officer with prior experience as claims managers, practice managers or skilled Customer Service administrators who are keen to work in the medical / insurance field.
Reporting to the South Australia Operations Manager, you will be responsible for preparing files ahead of appointments and supporting customers through the provision of advice and arranging suitable appointments with our extensive specialist consultant team.
Job Description
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Prepare files well at least a week in advance of appointments ensuring paperwork is in order including correct relevant medical documents and imaging.
- Positively engage with case managers and doctors about upcoming appointments.
- Consult and collaborate with team members on key tasks and priorities.
- Provide reception support as needed.
- Liaise with customers to plan and implement agreed services.
- Scheduling of appointments.
- Maintaining busy inboxes, with queries, appointments and non-appointment services.
- Providing administrative and operational support to consultant practitioners.
- Providing information and advice to customers, or prospective customers.
- Undertaking other tasks assigned to the Customer Services team, including reception duties, dictation, invoicing and supporting the greater team in general.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Demonstrated the ability to provide excellent Customer Service
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated the ability to work independently and within a group environment
- A personal approach which is enthusiastic, friendly and helpful
- Strong prioritisation skills while maintaining a level of flexibility
- Attention to detail is a must
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
