Our client, based in Currumbin Waters, is a long-standing and reputable company in the manufacturing sector. They are seeking an experienced administration assistant to support their day to day and accounts activities. Prior experience in administration, reception and some exposure to accounts processing (training available) would be ideal for this position. This is a permanent part-time role offering 30 hours per week, with flexibility to fit your lifestyle.
Your role will provide support to the team and will include:
- General administrative tasks and supporting the Office Manager
- Reception coverage, taking and directing calls, email management, scheduling appointments, stationery and supplies orders
- Assisting with accounts data entry - also learning other accounts functions
- Act as the point of contact for the team and stakeholders and ensuring high level communication across the team
We are seeking a professional candidate who meets the following criteria:
- At least 2 years' experience in an administrative role would be ideal
- Strong administrative, data entry, spreadsheet skills
- Skilled in the MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Some experience in accounts using MYOB would be ideal
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Great communication skills
- A self-motivated approach
