We are based in Somerton, providing fence hire services to the building & construction industry all over Melbourne. We are currently looking to expand our administration team & need someone on a full-time basis. The nature of our business entails a work day of 7am-3pm.
About the role
We are seeking a confident & assertive person to assist with the reception duties, job bookings, Accounts Receivable & general admin. This role will require someone to have a good computer literacy.
The main focus of this role will be Accounts Receivable and customer’s first point of contact for all bookings. This role will also entail scheduling jobs for our numerous crews.
The Key responsibilities in this role include
- Answering phone calls
- Responding to emails
- Booking jobs into the system & generating delivery paperwork (training provided on our software system MCS)
- Focusing primarily on Accounts Receivable
- Entering customer payments in MYOB
- Maintain a record of conversations and interactions with customers.
- General administration duties
Skills and experience
To be successful in the role you must have:
- Prior experience with debt collection highly regarded
- The ability to learn a software package with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional customer service telephone manner.
- Exceptional planning, organising and time management skills
- The ability and desire to increase your product knowledge relating to this role.
- Competent using Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and basic computer skills
- An enthusiastic, assertive and positive attitude.
- The ability to use initiative & have a high level of confidence in adapting to a new role is paramount. You need to be an experienced “all rounder”
You will be working alongside a team who already performs all of the tasks listed above & more. You will be providing additional support. You will be provided with any necessary training.
