Evolving to meet the community need since 1988, Youth Futures is one of WA’s oldest and largest youth specialist organisations currently providing 30+ programs and services across three core streams:
- Homelessness
- Education and Training
- Support and Wellbeing.

Since 2001 we have been delivering appropriate education programs for disengaged and at-risk young people through our Anchor Point program and Youth Futures Community School.
The Role
Our schools are designed to re-engage and support students who have had difficulty attending mainstream education. Our goal is to ensure that students achieve relevant education certificates and possess the personal and social skills required to progress, be that TAFE, employment, training or an apprenticeship.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and suitably experienced Administration and Student Support Officer, who will join a multidisciplinary team at Youth Futures Community School Midland. This position acts as the first point of contact for the school, managing the reception/ student services desk and incoming telephone calls. The role provides administrative support to assist the day-to-day operations of the school, including tasks associated with student administration.
We are looking for someone who
- Experience in a similar administrative role (school environment highly regarded)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
- Professional maturity
- Highly organised with an ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suites
- Experience using SEQTA will be highly regarded
- Valid National Police Clearance.
- Valid Working with Children's Check.

Work Conditions
- Monday - Friday
- 8am - 4pm
- 4 weeks annual leave (outside of school terms)
- Award and National Employment Standards
The base rate for this position depending on qualifications and experience is $61,698 to $70,434 per annum, plus superannuation. In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 for general living expenses and an additional $2,650 for entertainment benefits per annum.
