At Wellness Embodied, our Vision is to make Far North Queensland the healthiest region in Australia.
Since 2017, we have expanded to a team of 19 clinicians + admin and our Multi-disciplinary team includes Physiotherapy, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Remedial Massage & Naturopathy- to provide a true one-stop shop where we treat the whole person, not just a body part. Having just moved into our new flagship clinic above Mantra Trilogy, we have space for another valued admin team member to support our growth.

About the role
This role is for a true people person. You will be the first point of contact on the phone, so a professional manner and presentation is important. You MUST be genuinely interested in learning, health & helping people- both team and clients!
The environment at Wellness Embodied is fast paced and we need somebody who is excellent at prioritisation, multi-tasking & focus.
This is a 38 hour per week role (slightly less will be considered), and will be performed in our new city clinic, however work at any of our 3 Cairns clinics may be required. Initiative, a bubbly personality and drive to see the practice succeed and grow are essential. For those who wish to grow in the position, there are opportunities for high level NDIS work, financial roles, operations roles & more in the future.
About you
The skills required in this role include:
1.Friendly personality & genuine interest in healthcare & learning.
2. Multi tasking/ time management.
3. High level written & verbal communication, previous sales training would be a bonus. Confidence with phone calls- you will spend a lot of time on the phone, emails & talking!
4. Initiative
5. Being able to prioritise tasks via importance
6. Ability to commit to the role - both in requirements and hours, and some flexibility around the hours you work
7. Previous experience in healthcare would be highly regarded but is not essential.

This could not be further from the truth - our award winning Finance Associate had not worked in healthcare prior to starting as an admin assistant 4 years ago.
