My client is a growing 40 staff Chartered Accounting firm in the CBD. They are specialists in the Tax, Business Advisory, Audit and Corporate Finance space and service a range of Australian businesses, families and also multinationals.
They are seeking an Administration Assistant to join their team to assist with the organisation’s daily operations. Working in admin team of 5 and reporting to the Partner, your roles consists of:
- Collating tax returns and financials
- ASIC compliance including processing annual statements, incorporating companies, trusts, SMSFs etc, minutes, ABN/TFN registrations, making changes to addresses, shares etc.
- Lodgements or tax returns, BAS, IAS, FBT and SMSFs
- Liaising with clients, ATO, ASIC and other institutions
- Updating internal client database
- Prepare reports and summaries for the team
- Filing – electronically and manually
- Disbursements and entering into the system
- Reception relief
- Ad-hoc project based tasks
Applicants
- Approximately 3 years’ experience or more in a professional services firm - accounting firm experience ideal
- Experience with MYOB and/or Xero
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
- Organised and detail-oriented
