A unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced Administration Assistant to join the dynamic Aurora Offshore Engineering team on a part-time basis.
The Position
You will be a key support to the Financial Manager and HR Manager in the business's day-to-day operations. The role is an office-based position conveniently located in our Subiaco office and will assist with supporting the Management Team with various administrative tasks and bookkeeping for the company. The position is 3 days per week, with flexible working hours available.
Responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping;
- Various data entry and administrative support to the Financial Manager;
- Coordinating travel arrangements for staff;
- Provide support to Management Team assisting with calendar management, meeting minutes, scheduling meetings and general admin support;
- Organise catering and assist with coordination of events as required;
- Maintaining databases and tracking important deadlines;
- Manage office supplies and pantry supplies, restocking when required;
- Team participation (within reason) in line with company culture; and
- General administrative duties as required.
The Person
As the successful applicant, you will be a capable individual with exceptional attention to detail and a helpful nature. You will also hold:
- a minimum of two years' experience in similar bookkeeping/administrative assistant position;
- strong administration skills;
- proficiency in Xero;
- strong time management skills;
- proficiency in MS Office Software;
- experience with WordPress;
- high standards of accuracy;
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- passion for the ocean and renewable energy highly desirable;
- the ability to work autonomously; and
- a professional and approachable demeanour.
