We provide personalised support for the community in their own home, offering household assistance, personal care, in-home nursing, high intensity support, community access, Supported Independent Living, respite care and a variety of other NDIS supports. We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to work from the office, who understands the requirements of the NDIS, to respond to telephone and email inquiries, maintain confidential records, action participants and staff requests.
Core responsibilities.
- Ensuring that the principles of Person-Centred care are embedded in all service delivery interactions
- Responding to participants, family/carer, and other providers enquiries/feedback in a timely, efficient, empathetic, and supportive manner
- Responding to staff enquiries in a timely, efficient, and supportive manner
- Timely and accurate claiming of invoices via the NDIS portal, Plan Managers, and self‐managed clients
- Work with the payroll officer to ensure payroll and invoices are raised accurately and claimed at the appropriate rate, and within required timeframes
- Data entry for participants and monitoring the data recorded by staff in Brevity to ensure that it is recorded accurately and in a timely manner
- Effectively and efficiently organising meetings and monitoring client calendars
- Conducting daily data integrity checks of the roster
- Ensuring that all changes to activities are correctly updated, in Brevity, in line with funding and clients’ Plans
- Liaison between Support Coordinator’s, NDIS Participants and Service Provider
- Forward quotes/unsigned Service Agreements to Client Engagement Officer, ensuring that client journey is actively considered, and communication and timeframes are maintained.
- Maintaining positive relationships with Local Area Coordinators, Plan Managers, Support Coordinators and NDIS staff.
- Other ad hoc duties as required
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- An experienced, friendly, enthusiastic, service minded individual who can demonstrate a sound work ethic and attention to detail
- You will have excellent verbal and written communication proficiency, strong interpersonal skills, and a continuous improvement approach
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
- It is essential you are computer literate and have well developed organisational and administrative competencies
- Understanding of the NDIS support model or general knowledge of the NDIS system and legislative regulations
- Previous experience working with Client Management Systems is desirable
- Must hold a NDIS worker screening check and a Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Possess proof of COVID 19 Vaccination or a medical exemption.
