The Role
Work closely with the accounting team and act as a primary point of liaison with the clients.
The role involves:
- Maintaining a client relationship management system and electronic document management system
- Lodging Tax Returns on the ATO portal
- Lodging corporate secretarial documents with ASIC
- Manage and prioritize daily office tasks
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Support team members with various administrative tasks as needed
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant
- Experience gained in an Accounting firm (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong communication skills
- Well presented, strong relationship management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Working knowledge of Xero
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to work well in a team environment and accept responsibility.
