About the Role:
Our client is a highly successful Gold Coast business who provides innovative and safe lifting solutions for heavy machinery in the mining industry. Their products are locally manufactured and are supplied to customers in Australia and throughout the World.

Due to their ongoing growth and success, they now have a newly created opportunity for Part TimeAdministration Assistant, who has an exceptional “can-do” attitude and the ability to use their initative.  This will be a diverse role, supporting the Key Account Manager and the Production Manager with day to day administrative functions, including answering and directing calls, liaising with customers regarding orders, shipments and deliveries and contributing to the smooth running of the office.  This will be a Monday to Friday role, 8am to 1pm.

Duties:

  • Answering and directing calls in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status and updates
  • Produce letters, quotations and email correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide administration support to the sales and production teams
  • Review and filing of company records and other documentation
  • Maintaining general cleanliness of the office, reception and kitchen areas
  • General administrative duties as required

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office
  • Proven ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • Well developed work ethic, with a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Current drivers licence and own vehicle
