We are on the hunt for a Secretary/Grounds Manager to manage and promote the use of the Wagga Wagga Showgrounds facilities.
You will be the first point of contact for clients, suppliers, permanent tenants, and members of the Wagga Wagga Show Society.
You will continue to establish and maintain a strong relationship with clients, the wider community, and all levels of government through engagement.
Maintaining accurate administrative and financial records of the Wagga Wagga Show Society will be another feather in your cap!
We are looking for someone that can adopt a calm approach and prioritise workloads in periods of high demand.
You will interact with and provide regular reports to the Wagga Wagga Show Society Executive and the General Committee.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have:
- A willingness to learn, develop and grow, with support from our Executive.
- Highly developed administrative and financial reporting knowledge. We use Xero as our accounting package.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines.
- A clear understanding of risk management workplace health and safety responsibility related to venue management.
- An ability to communicate with confidence and be capable of building strong networks.
- Ability to work independently as well as be a part of the team.
Reporting:
You will report to the Wagga Wagga Show Society Committee through the President.
