Henning Harders is an Australian owned family business providing Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokers, Transport, Advisory and Contract Logistics Services.
Purpose of the role: Planning, organizing, directing and controlling overall administration of the business.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Prepare the Board pack for Board members and shareholders.
• Provide support and advice to Board members and Senior Executives on complex projects or administrative issues.
• Lead and manage projects such as requirements for new or additional premises.
• Lead and manage required resources to complete projects within timelines.
• Lead and complete administrative company tasks as required, such as reviewing service agreements and negotiation of services and supplies for the company.
• Provide advice and feedback on financial outcomes of projects to the Board members and shareholders.
• Lead initiatives such as procedural requirements for the company.
• Management of all facilities across Australia and advise on required upgrades.
• Manage Team activities.
• Lead and manage negotiations for conference requirements.
• Establish conduct and workflow standards across the organisation.
• Lead and manage company administration tasks.
• Provide necessary advice to Branch Managers in Australia and General Manager of New Zealand.
• Represent the company at association forums and meetings.
Other Duties: Fulfill other related administration duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Business or other Tertiary business-related qualification
Experience:
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Knowledge
• An understanding of Corporate Business Procedures
