A national privately owned company running cafes located across Australia is looking for a passionate and energetic Administration Assistant in for their Head Office in Parkville.
They pride themselves in providing top quality food & exceptional customer service.
This position is full-time, Monday-Friday.
You will be reporting directly to the Head Office and Catering Manager and assist with duties as required.
Major responsibilities include:
- Prepare quotations for catering, by phone and email.
- Building relationships and a rapport with regular customers and gaining regular feedback.
- Have a strong understanding of dietary requirements to ensure the safety of our clients
- Operate the Food Storm Catering system (training provided if required).
- Implement systems to ensure the smooth running of the catering operation.
- Issue instructions to kitchen and delivery staff to ensure the catering is of a high standard and delivered on time.
- Additional Ad hoc tasks (as required)
Previous experience in an administration or receptionist role is preferred. Successful candidates will have outstanding people and time management skills and an approachable can-do attitude where nothing is a problem.
This position is perfect for someone who prides themselves on their customer service skills.
As well, you must have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster, promote and grow relationships with internal hospital staff and external clients - must be fluent in English to engage with our customers.
- Strong food and catering knowledge is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and advanced organisation skills
- The ability to respond constructively to client/customer feedback and take action to improve the experience.
- You will be responsible for invoicing and must have good computer skills such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Flexibility for any after-hours events which may occur from time to time
