About us
Kooyoora is a Not for Profit working to ensure the safety of children and vulnerable people in organisations. The team is made up of committed, enthusiastic individuals from a variety of backgrounds, working together to continually improve the work we do. We have team members working all around Australia. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, willing to learn new things and work collaboratively within our admin team of 3 people. We are happy to provide training to the right person.
Qualifications & experience
- Ideally applicants will have a minimum of 3 years experience working in an office administration type role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 packages - word, excel, powerpoint, sharepoint, outlook etc
- Experience updating websites is desirable but not necessary
- Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Processing screening applications using an online screening portal (training provided)
- Answering telephone calls and reception duties.
- Liaising with screening applicants and providing assistance.
- Scanning, filing, collating and copying documents.
- Collecting, scanning and sorting mail.
- Assisting administration manager as required.
Benefits
- This role has some flexibility to enable the successful candidate to work full days or part days around school drop offs and pick ups. The person will be required to attend the office at least 2 days per week. Must be able to work Tuesday and Friday.
