Midlands-Ballarat RSL Sports and Services Club is seeking an Administration Officer to support our Administration team.
Midlands Golf Club is located on the northern side of Ballarat and is a popular sporting and social club with facilities including golf, bowls, family bistro, sports bar, bingo and a gaming room. The Club has started its refurbishment and will be fully modernised over the next two years.
The Administration Officer will provide administrative support to the Finance Manager across a variety of duties and responsibilities as required.
- Capability to process weekly payroll and prepare relevant payroll reports for approval.
- Update employee details and prepare HR documentation when required.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll regulations and award changes, implementing necessary adjustments or updates.
- Accounts Payable – processing invoices to Receipt Bank, weekly supplier payments, reconcile to supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
- General reception duties (telephone and customer service, ordering office supplies, filing, processing customer payments).
- Complete any daily banking’s and spreadsheets.
- Process membership invoices and payments and update customer records where required into the Mi-Membership system.
- Escalate finance & admin queries to the Finance Manager when required.
- Other adhoc finance or administration duties as required.

Experience:
Proven administration experience utilising an accounting package & payroll software. Experience with XERO accounting software advantageous.
