PLI, formerly Powerlift Industries is a Pilbara based, leading service provider in the Mining and Resource industries.
Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced and focussed Administration Officer to join our busy and growing team in Karratha. The position will work cohesively with our Human Resource and Operations teams to efficiently coordinate the associated logistics of sourcing and mobilising our people across multiple contracts, sites and projects as well as provide generalist administrative duties.
This position will suit a highly motivated individual with an exceptional attention to detail who takes pride in their work and likes to work in a busy team environment.
The position:
- The day-to-day admin tasks of the administration office
- Payroll support
- Preparation of Reports
- Update Processes and Procedures
- Assisting with the onboarding and mobilisation process of new employees to project and client requirements
- Utilise relevant data bases and systems to ensure information is accurately uploaded and tracked
- Facilitating a positive onboarding experience for all employees
- Coordinating staff competency (police clearances, medical etc.) processes
- Scheduling inductions and training for all staff
- Uploading documentation into internal and external systems or platforms
- Effective communication of information to staff and Clients
- Provide generalist duties and tasks including
- Maintain records and database systems.
- Provide support to all areas of the business.
Skills, experience;
To be considered for this position you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Residential to Karratha or Dampier
- Current and Valid Drivers Licence
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in business administration.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Be professionally presented with high verbal and written skills.
- Positive “can do” attitude.
- Demonstrate initiative and the desire and drive to learn.
- The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong phone skills as there will be reception coverage required.
- Computer and basic I.T skills.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office suite (desirable)
