About this role
The Administration Officer provides a high level of executive confidential and comprehensive administrative support service to North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) Facilities Management (FM) department. This role requires effective liaison and coordination and oversees the NMHS FM Department administrative and business services.
This role reports to Area Director Facilities Management.
What we are looking for
Your role plays a pivotal part in our organisation supporting the Area Director Facilities Management, with a variety of administrative duties some of which are listed below but not limited to:
- Extensive secretarial and administrative experience at a senior level, with demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in relaying information.
- Interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate with senior executives and gain the cooperation of staff and people at all levels.
- High level of initiative; ability to assess the urgency and importance of situations and take decisive and appropriate action.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills including the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Well-developed verbal and written skills including presentation for the preparation of correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, resource materials and presentations.
