Kailis Bros is a family owned and operated business which was established in Perth in 1926.
We are the foremost name in the West Australian seafood industry and operate a Fish Market, Restaurant, Function and Administration facilities in central Leederville. As part of the Group, we also operate Western Australia’s only seafood auction from the Perth Markets in Canning Vale.

The Role:
- To create and update employee master files in both manual and electronic form.
- To accurately total, audit and reconcile worked hours from employees into the payroll system.
- To complete all bank transfer procedures regarding the payment of wages.
- To formulate and report total wages for each department in the Group
- To calculate, pay and reconcile all Group and Payroll taxes.
- To calculate, pay and reconcile all superannuation payments.
- To ensure all onboarding and compliance measures for new employees are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures
- To ensure all termination policies, procedures and payments are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- To complete daily banking and reconciliation procedures
- To action Accounts Payable functions including.
- The follow up of Invoice Authorisation
- To confirm that all invoices are in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
- To ensure that all invoices are entered into the accounts system ready for payment approval
- To complete and administer credit applications
- To action Accounts Receivable functions including.
- To ensure all credit applications are complete and credit checks are complete for approval
- To allocate and reconcile all customer payments
- To prepare daily banking
- Prepare aged debtor reports and follow up payments
- To assist with all aspects of the finance, payroll, human resources and Administration of the business
- To perform any duties as directed by your manager
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of general accounting principles with appropriate tertiary qualifications
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced organisation
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
