Administration Officer

Australian Banana Company (ABC) is Premier Fresh Australia's banana packing facility in Innisfail, supporting growers across the Innisfail district. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a capable and committed Administrator Officer to join a dynamic and friendly team located in Innisfail, QLD.

Reporting to the Accounts and Office Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

• Providing accurate and timely administrative services to support the operations. 
• Payroll administration including entering and checking daily timesheets, preparing labour reports and reconciling invoices. 
• Accounts Payable and Receivable tasks including coding & filing invoices, processing creditor invoices, entering data into ERP system. 
• Undertake and support operational duties including grower payments, production reporting, stock control processing, and maintaining records. 
• Provide Work, Health & Safety administration & reporting support. 
• Providing ad hoc office support including maintaining office facilities and supplies, coordinating meetings, and assisting with events.  

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Successfully completed VCE and/or have demonstrable equivalent industry experience in an administrative role. 
• Capacity to work Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm. 
• Maintains positive and effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills along with communication both written and verbal. 
• Is proactive and has a strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
