Our family owned and operated company provides premium restoration services to the insurance industry for residential and commercial properties across Perth and its surrounds. The established business has been operating for over 12 years and is located in the northern suburbs of Perth.
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to commence full time employment ( 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday ). Any applicants with insurance industry experience would be highly regarded but not essential.
The Primary tasks of this role include:
- Input insurance claims into central database;
- Liaise with customers on new and ongoing insurance claims;
- Contact, discuss and arrange assessment of claims;
- Plan, monitor and arrange the diaries of internal staff;
- Communicate job details from initial contact for our staff booking;
- Instruct and coordinate subcontractors as per job requirements;
- Prepare and update and submit Job Reports for claims;
- Convert and prepare Content Registers for claims;
- Prepare formal quotes and invoices;
- Maintain databases and registers;
- Answer incoming telephone calls and emails from clients and claimants;
- Assess, Triage and Coordinate emergency client enquiries;
- Prepare work orders and match against contractors invoices;
- Order and maintain consumables;
- Other general administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will need to possess the following:
- Job, Staff and Contractor scheduling experience;
- Customer service focused;
- Strong administrative & word processing skills;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products;
- Excellent communication skills at all levels;
- Well organised, accurate and an eye for detail;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Ability to work to deadlines;
- Able to work autonomously & in a team;
- Smart personal presentation;
- Professional & courteous manner;
- Willing to learn & further develop the role.
