Your opportunity:
One of the positions is based at our parent campus, Brisbane Youth Education and Training Centre (BYETC), and will provide a range of administrative support to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day operations. To succeed in this role, applicants must have:

- the ability to work effectively in a team environment with shared responsibilities.
Previous experience in school administration is not essential; a proactive attitude and eagerness to develop your administration skills will be crucial to your success.
We also have a vacancy at our Vocational Training Queensland (VTQ) campus for an experienced administration officer to achieve outstanding results as a part of a dynamic, dedicated and professional team motivated to achieve results and improve educational outcomes. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- data entry experience
- the ability to be part of a team as well as self-managing
- a professional and positive attitude to in their work to effectively support the team.
Intermediate experience in the Microsoft Office suite applications and the ability to rapidly acquire a working knowledge of various software and management systems would be advantageous. The position will be based at our parent campus, BYETC, in Wacol QLD.
Vocational Training Queensland (VTQ) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) owned by the Department of Education. The primary purpose of VTQ is to deliver accredited and non-accredited training to at-risk youth. Applicants are encouraged to visit VTQ's website to learn more about the organisation.
Mandatory requirements:
- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services
