The Shire of Boddington is seeking a professional, dynamic and hardworking Administration Officer to join our Corporate Services team, on a fixed term 12 month contract, to cover parental leave. This position provides high level administrative support for all aspects relevant to the organisation, ensuring that processes are carried out in accordance with legislation, policies and operational practices.
Key responsibilities include:
• Undertaking all records management functions
• Assisting with review and development of policies and procedures
• Development and review of forms and templates
• Managing all leasing requirements for Shire properties
• Customer Service including Department of Transport licensing transactions
• Coordinating ITC support requests and managing asset database
• Providing support to the finance team, when required
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and have outstanding administrative abilities, with a keen eye for detail to produce high quality work. Knowledge and experience in local government with be beneficial, and the individual must exhibit strong organisational skills along with excellent customer service skills.
A competitive salary package is on offer between $80,684 and $84,131 inclusive of superannuation, with a cash component of up to $71,907.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a work/life balance, with the position offered at 76 hours, over a 9 day fortnight.
