PART TIME ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
AHSCA WA CHAPTER (Australian Hydraulics Services Consultants Association WA Chapter) is seeking a dynamic Administration person to join our Association. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the AHSCA in our state.
Position: Administration Officer
Location: Perth, WA (work from home)
Type: Part-time (approx. 30 hours per month)
About AHSCA WA CHAPTER
The WA Chapter of the AHSCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the Hydraulic Services Engineering profession within Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities include
- Develop and implement an operational plan/budget which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization and sustain and grow income
- Oversee and manage the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the organization
- Oversee and manage financial transactions, reporting, budgeting, yearly invoicing, banking and cash flow for AHSCA WA CHAPTER using Xero Accounting Package.
- Ensure the integrity of all records and correspondence relating to membership and sponsorship.
- Provide support to the Board by preparing meeting agenda, monthly minutes of meeting, AGM documentation and other supporting materials and initiate action as required. Attend monthly committee meetings either via Teams or in person.
- Oversee and manage event planning of quarterly functions which include liaising with the functions manager, payment of accounts, table seating, menu planning and setting up of the function room on the day. Also working with the different Plumbing Companies and Authorities for Presentation at the functions.
- Organization of quarterly webinars via Teams.
Experience/Qualifications
- Proven experience in Event Planning, Xero Accounting Package and Wild Apricot Software.
- Would suit a person who has experience in a Plumbing or Hydraulics Engineering Company.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage with Members and Sponsors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant technology platforms
