The Administration Officer holds a pivotal role within the Finance team at Echuca Regional Health. This position primarily focuses on enabling consumer access to the health facility while concurrently offering vital support to the staff. By delivering reception and administrative services, the Administration Officer serves as a vital bridge, connecting the organisation with its clientele while upholding efficient administrative practices within the healthcare setting.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:
- Switchboard management - The timely and professional answering of all incoming calls from both internal and external customers
- Receipting and banking of monies
- Announcing emergency codes
- Reception duties- Assisting/directing the public to services within ERH
- Maintaining the debtor system; ensuring fees are accurately invoiced and forwarded promptly to the relevant parties for payment
- Ensure effective follow-up of all outstanding accounts
- Other duties which may be requested from time to time

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check. In addition, this position requires evidence of vaccination status for COVID-19..
