We are currently seeking a diligent and proactive Administration Officer to support our Finance team onsite at Melbourne Airport.
In this full time permanent position, you will be required to support with a wide variety of administrative and finance tasks and have the opportunity to learn within the position to develop your administrative and finance skills. This is a great opportunity to work in a global company, while being based at Melbourne Airport, a busy and exciting place to work.
On a day to day basis, you will be required to support the Finance team with a number of administrative tasks including collating invoicing, entering finance data into excel, responding to finance requests in a timely manner and managing ad-hoc administrative requests from the finance team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an administrative officer or similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pick up systems (SCM, & Peoplesoft) and have a basic to intermediate level of experience with MS Office, including Word & Excel
- Perform general office duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial terminology is advantageous
- Available to work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (flexibility may be required on occasion)
Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative position
- Accounting & Finance degree
- An understanding and experience within the hospitality industry
