The role:
As an Administration Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include greeting clients in person at reception, managing scheduled appointments, and responding to enquiries about our diverse support services, both face-to-face and over the phone.
Key Duties:
- Provide prompt and empathetic customer service to clients, addressing enquiries about support services, both in person and over the phone.
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls related to emergency accommodation, tenancy assistance, Aged Care, and Disability support.
- Perform general administration tasks such as processing invoices, managing client intake information, fleet management, and banking.
- Provide administrative support to Service Leaders.
- Ability to travel between Maryborough and Hervey Bay sites as required.
- Certificate III in Business Administration OR experience in a similar role
- Car and Licence
- Knowledge and experience working in Microsoft Suite applications.
- Intermediate level of Information Technology skills including the use of a computer, tablet, phone
- and relevant systems
- Intermediate skills in the use of client and staff information (e.g. TRACC’s and Aurion) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong emphasis on empathy and understanding, both in person and over the phone.
- Proven ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls.
- Experience in general administration tasks, including invoice processing and data management.
- Ability to obtain an NDIS workers screening card and working with children check.
- Ability to obtain and pass a police check.
