About the Role:
Our Homelessness Youth Services are focused on early intervention, crisis accommodation and support of long-term positive housing outcomes. We are looking for a Part Time Property and TenancyAdministration Officer, working 30 hours per week flexible can be school hours 9am-3.30pm, supporting Mt Gravatt and Beenleigh offices but will be based in our Beenleigh office to coordinate the efficient and effective administrative duties and clerical financial requirements of the service including Property and Tenancy management of the properties provided under Homelessness Youth Services.
About You
We’re looking for a dynamic individual with strong administration skills capable of anticipating and managing the requirements of a busy service effectively. Requirements include:
- Significant background in administration, preferably within Community Services, property or real estate or similar field
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Authority
- Understanding of financial processes including rent payments
- Experience in payroll
- Intermediate level ability with Microsoft Office suite with capacity to learn and use other software and systems
- Proven competence in time management, organising and prioritising to meet deadlines
- Capacity to work autonomously while also demonstrating a strong commitment to team work and being solution focussed
- Capacity to convey tenancy information to service users from diverse backgrounds
- Record management experience
- Well-developed written and verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills

You will be required to hold:
- Current National Police Check
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children)
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Tenancy Coordination, Property Management or similar field and/or equivalent practical experience
