Administration Officer - Records - Government

APG Workforce are currently seeking an Administration Officer with Records experience for a role based in a Parramatta Government Sector.

• 6 month assignment - possible extension 
• Start date: ASAP 
• $45.60 Per Hour + Super
• 7 hrs p/d / 35 hrs p/w
• Location: Parramatta

Primary Purpose of the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent, and timely record management services within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise Content Manager (Trim) to locate and retrieve company records as requested.
• Manage file movements, archiving, and sending archive boxes to storage.
• Prepare Content Manager (Trim) reports and ensure data quality.
• Assist in the sentencing and disposal of records.
• Provide excellent communication and support to internal customers.
• Adapt to office and team environments, handling both planned and reactive tasks.

Essential Criteria:

• Proven ability to deliver high-quality record management services.
• Experience using Content Manager (Trim) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills for effective internal customer interactions.
• Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Familiarity with common concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Ability to follow instructions and established guidelines.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant records management experience.
