We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer (Regulatory Services) to join one of our government clients for an immediate start for a period of 3 months. The main objective of this role is to work collaboratively to provide consistent, efficient and effective administrative, operational and project support to enable optimum service delivery to the community.
The Role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support through a broad range of tasks including customer service, financial management, record management and general and other adhoc administration tasks
- Perform a range of high level administrative functions associated with the administration of relevant Acts and Regulations
- Liaise with relevant government bodies/agencies in relation to Fines Enforcement and Recovery processes and procedures to ensure the effective enforcement of expiations and registration search procedures and processes
- Undertake ongoing system administration, maintenance, enhancement and end user support (both internal and external) for the relevant Information Systems of the Department, particularly systems parameters and workflows
- Assisting with enquiries through the use of corporate systems and operational procedures and processes
- To manage all corporate records in accordance with required procedures
Skills and Experience Required
We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:
- Previous government / similar complex administrative environment experience
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy to coordinate and prioritise tasks, exhibiting ongoing initiative, to best facilitate the provision of administrative functions
- Able to complete repetitive duties and data entry efficiently
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Proactive and strong attention to detail
- Good data entry skills, accuracy, and proven reliability
