About the role
Based on site at our largest timber mill in Suttontown, the Administration Officer provides a range of reception, finance and business administrative, and clerical support to the General Manager, and the professional services team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide a broad range of administrative support to members of the Management, Finance & IT, Operations, Sales, Safety & HR teams.
- Assisting with timely and accurate data entry and record keeping.
- Provide back-up support to other administrative roles when required.
- Calendar management, support travel, and room bookings.
- Other general administrative duties as required.
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
- Experience in all areas of office administration including, customer service, reception, data entry and record keeping within a small business.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate a high degree of discretion.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- High level of initiative and well-developed problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including strong written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly desirable but not essential.
- Formal qualifications in Administration, financial services or and Health & Safety are desirable but not essential.
