Primary objective
Provide efficient administrative support to the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services (NTPFES) College
Education Support Unit including coordination support for events and accurate data entry of information.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support services to the PFES College Education Support Unit.
2. Enter/update training and learner information into the Assessment Development and Personnel Training (ADAPT)
database with high levels of accuracy.
3. Assist with course administration including coordinating presenter bookings and managing learner enrolments.
4. Assist with the preparation of course materials including formatting of documents, preparing event information and
general correspondence.
5. Record and monitor documents and files in the Territory Records Manager (TRM) system.
6. Provide support for functions and major events within the College as required.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with confidence to deal with employees at a range of
levels.
2. Demonstrated ability to prioritise work to meet strict deadlines, utilise initiative and problem solve.
3. Ability to work as part of a team.
4. Sound skills in computer software packages including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and databases.
5. Accurate and timely data entry with a focus on attention to detail.
Desirable
1. Experience with the ADAPT and TRM systems
