Your new role
The Regulatory Services Project and Administration Support Officer will provide the department with high level administrative knowledge and business support in a timely and accurate manner.
Working with the Manager of Regulatory Services and the Regulatory Services team, the Project and Administration Support Officer will provide administrative support for the delivery of the Council’s projects. This includes general administrative duties, research, collating information, and assistance with project management activities. Activities include but are not limited to general Administration Support, records management, customer service, meeting agenda, minute preparation, diary management and assistance in the administrative application of regulatory activities.
The Project and Administration Support Officer role will provide supporting and fostering constructive behaviours, innovative continuous improvement in service delivery, and adding value to the achievement of the Council’s core business objectives. The council’s capital delivery, including supporting project managers and assisting in contractor management activities and supervision.
What you'll need to succeed
- Certificate IV or higher qualifications in business administration with demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking contract and project administration
- Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of contracts and contractual requirements
- Knowledge of relevant governance and legislative requirements
- Demonstrated an ability to manage and present information with high attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated high level customer service skills.
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills.
The ability and proven experience to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
